The members of the academic community of the Ionian University, the v-Corfu project team, Dr. Athanasios Tsipis and Professor Dr. Konstantinos Oikonomou, received the Best Paper Award from the important international 26th IEEE ISCC conference on their paper “Player Assignment in MEC Gaming for Social Interactivity and Server Provisioning Optimization”.
